Lunch

At this time, we do not provide lunch as part of the weekly Day Center fees. However, balanced lunches will be available for purchase for a reasonable cost (anywhere from $2.50 to $5). This gives young people an opportunity for choice and money management skills.

There is a fully equipped kitchen for use by your child, including:

  • Refrigerator/Freezer (Put only items in there requiring refrigeration in order to make room for everyone. Please send these food items in a separate box used for this purpose with your child’s name on it.)
  • Stove/Oven (Requires adult supervision unless over the age of 10 and a consent has been signed.)
  • Griddle (Requires adult supervision unless over the age of 10 and a consent has been signed.)
  • Microwave
  • Wide-Slot Toaster
  • Condiments Available (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, butter, tub margarine, Miracle Whip, salt, and pepper)

The 11+ year old attendees will eat lunch first between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Children ages 5 to 10 will follow between 12:00 noon and 12:30 p.m. Each will be followed by a half hour open time to be outdoors or continue exploring indoors in their respective rooms. Feel free to join them!

Please provide a well-balanced meal for your child each day. Here are some helpful links (click on the image):
